About the Kokomo Downtown Farmers' Market

Smell the aroma of harvest. See its vibrant colors. Taste the difference of fresh produce. At the Kokomo Downtown Farmers' Market, you can.

Every Saturday is different and new. Check out all of our amazing vendors. We only sell produce grown and harvested by the actual growers, allowing you to ask questions about your food and to get answers! Questions like...

  • What is grown organically?
  • What does pesticide-free mean?
  • What kind of fertilizer was used?
The more we know about our food, the more healthy we all can be!

A typical market day consists of a variety of vendors offering everything from seasonal produce, meats, eggs, breads, baked goods, and crafts. Each week as well, the market tries to feature one local non-profit.  We will be offering free educational classes for the public nearly each and every week. Examples may include a class on how to can produce, how to raise chickens, edible weeds, and beneficial insects for the garden. Check our calender of events for more details.

Rhum Academy of Music will be there each week offering students a chance to play. In addition, other various musicians from the area will be peforming. The market is open rain or shine. Remember to bring cash, preferably ones, and reusable bags to carry purchases. Walk around, ask questions and learn about your food straight from the source!

The Kokomo DowntownFarmers' Market is a partnership between the Kokomo Downtown Association, the Greater Kokomo Economic Development Alliance, and Ivy Tech Community College. The 2010 market season is scheduled to run from April to the end of October.
